Mayor's Office

Mayor Harold E. “Bubba” Miller was elected Mayor on June 9, 2015, and sworn in to office on June 30, 2015, to serve the term of July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2019.  He is the first Madonna High School graduate to be elected Mayor of the City of Weirton.

Mayor Harold E. Miller is dedicated to helping and serving Weirton residents.  He served as Ward 2 councilman from 2003 to 2011, and he has served on multiple boards and volunteered many years of service to community organizations, and causes, including the Weirton Renaissance Festival.  Mayor Miller, along with his wife and family, own and operate the Victorian Hall and Tavern, where you will find him frying up wings in the kitchen every Monday and Thursday.

Mayor Miller’s love for God, his family, and this community is unwavering.

The Mayor is recognized as the Chief Executive of the City for all civil and ceremonial purposes and for acts or transactions involving the preservation of law and order, and the application to the City of military law.  In addition, the Mayor presides at council meetings; appoints members of advisory boards, commissions, and committees (with the consent and approval of council); and assists the City Council with policy decisions.
