The Weirton Police Department added the Bicycle Patrol in 2007.
The Bicycle Patrol is utilized in during the summer and fall months at social events such as parades, festivals, and sporting events.
The officers who are assigned to the bicycle patrol play an important role in education and bicycle safety to the children of our community.
