He started in the oil and gas industry, working there for six years until he was injured in an accident.  After "consulting with his wife" he decided to go a safer route and was blessed enough to land a job at 84 Lumber as an Installed Sales Manager

Chris has also served as a member of St. Joseph the Worker School Advisory Board, and has been coaching kids in baseball for the past eighteen straight seasons and soccer at the Millsop Community Center.

Councilman Jonczak served as councilman for Ward II from October 2021 to December 2024. After a shift in ward boundaries, he ran unopposed for the council seat of Ward VII and is honored to serve as Councilman of the seventh ward for the 2025 - 2029 term.

When Councilman Jonczak is not working, you will find him on the water kayaking or in the woods camping with his family.
