Weirton Ride Title VI/ADA Procedure

Weirton Ride is committed to policy of non-discrimination in the conduct of its business, including its Title VI responsibilities and to the delivery of equitable and accessible transportation services. Any person who believes that he or she has been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or disability may file a complaint with Weirton Ride within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination. Listed below are ways to file a complaint.

We encourage that you file the complaint with us. However, you may file a complaint with the Federal Transit Administration at:

Title VI Complaint Process

All complaints will be investigated promptly. Once received, the complaint will be recorded. You will receive a letter acknowledging that we have received your complaint. In instances where additional information is needed, you will be contacted in writing. Failure to provide the requested information within 10 days may result in the administrative closure of the complaint or a delay in the complaint resolution.


Response

An investigation will be conducted within 90 days from receipt of a completed complaint form. Once completed, you will receive a letter summarizing the results of the investigation, stating the findings, and advising of any corrective action to be taken.
