Earth Day is recognized annually to remind us of the incredible beauty our planet holds and to emphasize the importance of coming together to preserve its beauty!
On April 22, 2025, the City of Weirton recognizing the importance of Earth Day partnered with Mon Power/FirstEnergy Green Team and the Weirton Board of Parks for the second year to plant over 200 tree/shrub saplings in the City.
