On April 18, 2023, Nick Tranto was presented the Weirton Lions Club's Heart of a Lion Award at their banquet for his contributions to his family and church. Mayor Harold E. Miller attended the banquet to present Mr. Tranto with a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the City of Weirton for all he hoes done.
