The WVU Extension office is looking for high-energy individuals to assist with their summer program, Energy Express.
Volunteers are needed to help with the following tasks:
- Setup & cleanup after meals
- Sorting supplies and books
- Monitoring art supply room
- Ensuring art materials & books are available in the classroom
- Help locate preferred reading books (as to theme/subject or reading level)
- 1-on-1 reading with children in a classroom
- Reading to a group of children in a classroom
- Assisting children with writing or art projects
- Assisting teachers with supervising outdoor activities
