Witness shocking terror beyond your imagination! Weir High School's Drama Club unveils An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe this fall season!

Weirton- The play features a trilogy of Poe's most celebrated works. "The Black Cat", "The Raven" and "The Tell-Tale Heart" all come to spine-tingling life on stage. The stories were adapted for stage by Albert T. Viola. Corey E Miller, Language Arts teacher/Thespian sponsor, is directing the production. He is being assisted by Logan Baldauf (student stage manager).

The show stars Bret Fankhauser as an axe murder, Dakota Wagoner as Poe, and Seth Feirman as an obsessive murder suspect. Additional principal cast members are Taylor Niven as an apprehensive wife, Maddy Carroll as The Raven, Alyssa Burdine as The Black Cat, and Shalynn Whear as Lenore.

In addition to the show, patrons will have an opportunity to take photographs with Poe and participate in a Poe inspired art raffle. All paintings are student created and the proceeds will benefit the school's performing arts program.

Performance dates are Friday, November 3rd @ 7PM, Saturday, November 4th @ 7PM, and Sunday, November 5th @ 3PM in the Weinberg Theater. Tickets are $7.00 at the door.
