A lieutenant for the Weirton Fire Department was sworn in by Mayor Harold E. Miller on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the Weirton Municipal Building. Brian Ritchie, who has served as a Weirton fire fighter since 2008, has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
