WHS Drama Club Presents The Addams Family (Young @ Part) Musical
The Weir High School Drama Club proudly presents The Addams Family (Young @ Part) musical on Friday, November 21st at 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 22nd at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, November 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Milton Weinberg Theater inside Weir High School.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased online through the school’s website or at the door. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance.
The show is directed by Corey E. Miller. Miller is a Language Arts teacher and the school’s Theater Director. Miller is assisted by student stage manager Maria Sikora.Other crew members include Jayme Utt (sound), Alena Mallory (lights), Andrew Sikora, Gavin Dunlap, and Violet Magee (stage hands).
The production features a talented cast of Weir High students, including Caden Runkel as Gomez, Lana Sauer as Morticia, Gigi Mastrantoni as Wednesday, Airick Easterday as Fester, Ari Pulliam as Grandma, Rylan Summers as Pugsley, and Teague Kelley as Lurch. Additional supporting roles include Chasper Gray as Mal Beineke, Sydney Dunlap as Alice Beineke, and Jarek Devault as Lucas Beineke.
Director Corey E. Miller shared his enthusiasm for the production, noting the combination of humor and heart that makes The Addams Family such a crowd favorite.
“The Addams Family is the perfect blend of spooky fun and family heart,” Miller said. “Our students have poured their energy, creativity, and humor into bringing these iconic characters to life. I think audiences will be surprised by how much warmth and laughter they’ll find in this creepy, kooky family.”
