The lights are on at the Weirton Christian Center!
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Weirton Christian Center (WCC) hosted a special Lights On Afterschool event to mark the 26th annual nationwide celebration. City officials were in attendance to commend the WCC for its long-standing afterschool program, which has provided a strong foundation for the community's children for over a century.
The event underscored the critical role afterschool programs play in benefiting students, families, and the community at large.
