In recognition of the 2025 UNICEF campaign, Mayor Dean Harris presented Weirton Church Women United a proclamation in support of their mission to protect the rights and lives of children worldwide.

This proclamation acknowledges the important work of UNICEF and our shared commitment to build a world where every young person can thrive.
Weirton Church Women United members work diligently every year to carryout the mission of UNICEF in our community. Many thanks to the ladies of this organization for your efforts in keeping this noble cause alive in Weirton!
