Friends, family, colleagues, community members, and local government officials attended the 2025 Induction Ceremony on Saturday, August 16 at the Lauttamus Event Center as eight remarkable individuals from Weirton were inducted into the Weirton Hall of Fame for their outstanding achievements and contributions. The 2025 Class represented a diverse group of Weirtonians who have made an impact in their perspective categories.

The Hall of Fame will soon be looking for individuals for the 2026 Class with outstanding accomplishments in Philanthropy ; Public Service ; Music and Fine Arts ; Business, Industry, and Professions ; Education and Religion ; and Sports and Athletics that is either a current or former resident of Weirton that has lived in the city for a minimum of five years since 1947. If you know someone who has outstanding accomplishments in one of the aforesaid categories , be sure to nominate them when the applications go live in 2026.
