Members of the community joined USW Local 2911 representatives and state and local government officials today for the annual ceremony held to remember the over 100
steelworkers who lost their lives by working at the Weirton mill to enhance our community. As part of the ceremony, safety in the workplace was stressed to help prevent additional lives from being taken too soon.
Let us never forget the steelworkers who gave their lives for Weirton and honor them by practicing safety while working!
