The City of Weirton Sanitation Department will begin picking up "YARDWASTE" on Monday, April 21, 2025. Yard waste should be placed in containers marked "YARD WASTE" in opened containers, separated from your general household trash and then placed curbside on the resident's garbage day.
Material will not be accepted in plastic bags or cardboard boxes. Branches and limbs larger than 1/2" in diameter will not be accepted.
Do not mix garbage with yard waste. Questions concerning the collection should be directed to the Public Works Department at 304-797-8500 Ext. 3002 or Ext. 3003.
