The Weirton Area Water Board will have a vacancy on the board as of May 30, 2025. The City of Weirton Council will be accepting letters of intent from residents who may be interested in serving on the Weirton Area Water Board.
According to City Ordinance §161.02 all interested individuals must be “...customers of the Weirton water system, and all of whom shall be residents of the state of West Virginia….” Appointed board members serve a five-year term. Letters of intent must be received in the Office of the Mayor, c/o Brandy Brock, City of Weirton, 200 Municipal Plaza, Weirton, WV 26062, by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025.
