February is nationally recognized as Black History Month to highlight the significant contributions of black Americans that shaped our nation through both triumphs and adversities.
In honor of Black History Month, Mayor Dean M. Harris presented a proclamation to the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center and a Certificate of Appreciation to Bob Kelley acknowledging their commitment to memorializing the history and legacy of African American leaders.
