Weirton Ride Helps Weirton Residents
Weirton Citizens on the Regular Route - Due to the current water situation within the City of Weirton, the Weirton Ride (the Weirton Transit Department) is offering free rides to citizens with low or no water pressure who wish to utilize the Millsop Community Center (MCC) facilities to shower free of charge.
To find the times and maps of the Regular Route bus service go to WEIRTONRIDE.ORG.
Citizens living along the Regular Route bus service can ride free to and from the MCC at the following times for showering:
- Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Citizens returning home on the Regular Route from the MCC should utilize the bus shelter in front of Mary. H. Weir Library.
