The Public is welcome to participate at dusk (6:00 PM) to release black balloons in remembrance of family and friends lost to overdose. Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes early so balloons can be distributed. The church is located at 3301 West Street in downtown Weirton. You can park behind WesBanco and Busy Bee in the public parking lot. Before the release there will be a moment of silence and of prayer for those lost and the families left behind. The Church will read each name of a friend and/or family member lost to overdose and release a balloon in their honor. Everyone will then retreat inside to have time together as family and community and enjoy some refreshments to share stories, tears and love.
