Representatives of Starvaggi Industries recently presented a $500 contribution to the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 948 to assist with the purchase of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Firefighters with the Weirton Fire Department often distribute carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors as part of community events, as well as while on calls if they notice a resident is without an operational detector. — Craig Howell
