The City of Weirton partnered with the Weirton Festival Committee to collect food and toys for the Salvation Army to help those in need during the holiday season. Items for the food and toy drive were collected during the Christmas on Main Street event on November 18 and at the Weirton Municipal Building, Weirton Fire Department, Millsop Community Center, Mary H. Weir Public Library, and the Public Works Department October 31 through December 1.
