The Weirton First Church of the Nazarene’s Reaching Higher Sunday School Class was recognized on Thursday, November 30, 2023, for their years of service in maintaining and beautifying Banner Park located at 200 Miller Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.
In addition to the recognition of the Sunday School Class , Mayor Harold Miller was presented with a dedication plaque for a gazebo placed at the park that he and his Assistant Brandy Brock had been effortlessly working on to get placed
in Weirton. With the assistance from Public Works's employees Scott Marshall, Zach Miser and Randy Williams, the gazebo was built and placed at Banner Park in October 2023,
