Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt Set for April 8

 

The Weirton Board of Parks & Recreation will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Weirton Millsop Community Center (WMCC). The event is free of charge and is open to all area children aged toddler to 10-years old.

 

The event will include over 6,000 Easter Eggs, prizes, cookies and hot dogs.

 

The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures.

 

All kids will meet in the gymnasium and be called out by age group to collect eggs at Edwin J. Bowman Baseball Field, which is located directly behind WMCC.

 

In the event of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be held inside WMCC.

Hancock County Savings Bank is the major sponsor of this year's Easter Egg Hunt.
