"CHRISTMAS ON MAIN STREET" USHERS IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN WEIRTON
Weirton's sixth annual "Christmas on Main Street" celebration, held on Saturday, November 22 marked the beginning of the holiday season for Weirton residents and visitors. Large crowds gathered as the City’s Main Street was transformed into a vibrant, festive hub for the highly anticipated Ohio Valley celebration.
The event featured a full schedule of free, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, the traditional community Christmas tree lighting, and a fireworks display that lit up the night sky. Seeing thousands of people fill the City’s streets evoked fond memories of a cherished era in Weirton’s history.
