The results are in! With 27 entries and after thousands of votes, the Weirton Festival Committee is pawsitively excited to announce the winners of our fourth annual Cutest Christmas Pet Photo Contest.
Meet the three adorable pets that stole the hearts of voters to receive the highest votes in this year’s competition……….
First Place with 860 Votes – Andy
Owner: Christine Tate
Summary: Owner Christine Tate is someone who absolutely loves the holiday season. She is the type of person who starts decorating early, gets overly invested in picking the perfect ornaments, and looks forward all year to that warm, joyful Christmas atmosphere. And right beside her for all of it is Andy—her best friend, partner in holiday chaos, and now officially the cutest Christmas dog around.
Christine entered Andy in this contest because he truly embodies the spirit of Christmas. He doesn’t just like the holiday… he lives it. His favorite part—and everyone in their family can confirm this—is opening Christmas gifts. He tears into wrapping paper like it is his full-time job. His owner swears he gets more excited about presents than most kids! Seeing him dive into a pile of gifts, tail wagging, eyes sparkling—it is impossible not to smile. Andy brings joy, laughter, and pure holiday magic into her life every single day and wanted to share a little piece of that joy with everyone else.
Second Place with 805 Votes – Wesley, Phoebe, Bentley, Lexi, Lily, Lucy, Baylee & Birdie
Owner: Taylor Moore
Summary: Owner of these adorable Boston Terriers is Taylor Moore. She has had Boston Terriers her entire life and currently has a wonderful little group of them. The oldest is almost 11 and the youngest is 7. They are the best dogs. Her Terriers get along so well and love playing together. Each one has their own unique personality and they always keep life fun and interesting. They brighten her home just from being there. The bond she shares with them is very special. Taylor submitted them for the contest because she loves sharing them with everyone.
Third Place with 580 Votes – Blossom
Owners: Eliza Utt
Summary: Blossom is a very friendly puppy. She is the cutest Shipoo and very lovable and playful. Blossom is a sweetheart who brings joy to everyone she meets. She loves giving puppy kisses and getting cuddles.
Fun fact: She got her name from eating blossoms off of flowers.
Her family entered the contest to raise money for homeless animals, and is grateful for the support everyone gave! Blossom and Eliza are glad to have been part of this!
