The City of Weirton Administrative Offices will be closed Wednesday, November 26 at 12:00PM and on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in celebration of Thanksgiving. The Public Works and Weirton Transit schedules are as follows:
Public Works – Offices will be closed on November 27 and November 28. Collection of garbage and recyclables will run one day late. Those normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday. Those normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Saturday.

Weirton Ride – The Weirton Ride Transit Department WILL BE CLOSED and no routes will run on Thursday, November 27. The Saturday Route Schedule will run on Friday, November 28.
