Weirton’s north end Christmas tree lighting is a tradition that brings back wonderful memories of childhood and community spirit. As a thank you, major sponsors and supporters of Weirton’s Christmas on Main Street gathered yesterday in the crisp evening air to light up the Christmas tree at the north end. Seeing everyone gathered was a  reminder of the simple magic of the holiday season. 

Special thank you to Leonardo's Coffeehouse & Renaissance Coffee Roasting Co. and Rustik Rollz Bakehouse LLC for providing refreshments for last night's tree lighting.

With the lighting of the north end tree, Christmas has officially begun in Weirton! Next on Weirton’s Christmas playlist, is Christmas on Main Street taking place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1PM – 7PM. Be sure to join us next week for some holiday fun in Weirton and the official tree lighting ceremony at 7PM.
