The Sanitary Board employs 17 full time employees. In addition to operating and maintaining the collection system and treatment plant, the employees regularly perform construction and installation of pipelines and equipment. Doing much of the work in-house has saved thousands of dollars. These savings are passed on to the citizens in the form of lower sewer rates.
