On this day June 17, 2023, Mayor Harold E. Miller proclaimed June 19,2023, as Juneteenth in the City of Weirton and recognized the Weirton Ecumenical Council Juneteenth Committee and all those who worked together in unity to hold the Juneteenth Worship Service today in celebration of Juneteenth.
