On March 28, 2023, Mayor Harold Miller, Councilman Timothy C. Connell, Councilman Chris Jonczak, Councilwoman Flora Perrone, Police Chief Charlie Kush, Patrolman Brandon Palmeri, and Fire Admin Sarah Farran attended the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce's 86th Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet at Undo's Weirton as City representatives.
The meeting/banquet theme for this year was "Business and Professional People Working Together to Make Their Community a Better Place for
Everyone to Live and Work" followed the City of Weirton's motto "Success in Unity." Both ring true, because alone our community cannot succeed, but together we can build a strong community that will remain for future generations to come.
The Weirton Daily Times listed the following businesses that were recognized at the banquet for reaching milestone anniversaries: Charnie Insurance - 75 years; Goodwill Industries and Smitty’s Floors - 25 years; and Crazy Mexican, Taylor’s Massage and The Spoiled Pup - 5 years each. Congratulations to those businesses that were recognized for their milestone anniversaries!
