The City of Weirton Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2022, in celebration of Christmas. The Public Works and Weirton Transit schedules are as follows:
- Public Works – Offices will be closed on Monday, December 26. The schedule for the collection of garbage and recyclables WILL NOT BE ALTERED.
- Weirton Transit Corporation – Offices are closed on Monday, December 26. Weirton Transit will be operating on half day service on Christmas Eve, December 24. The week of Christmas, they will operate on their Saturday Loop Schedule.
