Clayton Dal Porto, with Eagle Scout Troop 334, selected to renovate the City of Weirton Cove Commons Park as his Eagle Scout Service Project. Renovations to Cove Commons included new picnic tables and replacement of old boards on the tables and benches that were already in place. Thanks to the efforts of Clayton, Eagle Scout Troop 334, and other organizations, Cove Commons continues to transform into a beautiful public space for our community to enjoy.
Mayor Harold E. Miller presented a plaque to Clayton and Troop 334 on August 11, 2020, at the Cove Commons Park.
