[ARCHIVED] Weir High Presents "Superheroes!"

Weirton- The Weir High Drama Club will be performing the play Superheroes! on Friday, November 22nd at 7PM, Saturday, November 23rd at 7PM, and Sunday, November 24th at 2PM.

This laugh-out-loud comedy is a must see attraction for comic book fans. Superheroes! gives the audience a behind the scenes glimpse of the world's favorite crime-fighters. See The Incredible Hulk filing his taxes, Superman's secret identity being discovered, Robin joining a sidekick support group, Batman seeking vengeance upon fast food employees, and much, much more!

The play is written by Ian McWethy. It is being produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. Corey E. Miller, Language Arts teacher and Drama Club/Thespian Sponsor, is directing the production.

Younger audience members will have a chance to meet and greet their favorite superheroes after the show. Superheroes include The Black Widow (played by Lauren Licause), Superman (played by John Wansack), Spiderman (played by Alex Miller), Aquaman (played by Jason Lipovich), Batman (played by Matt Mosser), Robin (played by Matt Jagela), Wonder Woman (played by Delaney O'Neill), and The Hulk (played by Strider Hannen).

Tickets are $10.00 at the door. Doors open a half hour prior to show times. With great power comes ordinary responsibility!
