Reflections on 2018: Tin Man 5K
To kick off the day of the Gate 5 Industrial Arts Festival, the first-ever Tin Man 5K brought in over 100 registered runners/walkers from 4 different states and 20 different cities.
There were 70 people preregistered before the day of the event, with another 34 day-of registrations. Racers loved the route, were impressed with its organization, and enjoyed our unique 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. One mill worker even ran the entire race wearing his hard hat!
Winners were: 1st Place Evan Bell, 2nd Place Ethan Robey, 3rd Place Keith Hixenbaugh.
Well done all runners. We hope to see you again in 2019!
