Weirton: The City Forged by Steel Art Competition Exhibition

Twenty-four artists worked through the fall to capture the last days of Weirton’s largest downtown mill buildings. On January 20, 2018, their works were unveiled at the “Weirton – The City Forged by Steel” art exhibit opening and awards ceremony, and are now on display until March 22, 2018, at the Summit Art Gallery.
The exhibit includes more than 40 pieces from 24 artists, who created their art in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing and mixed media.
The work is on view weekdays at Summit Art Gallery, 3383 Main St., Weirton, and will also be open for viewing at a handful of special evening and weekend events. Follow the Weirton – The City Forged by Steel page on Facebook for Details.
