ROAD CLOSURE - Ohio County Route 53 3/21/23

Road Closure at County Route 53, Grimes Ridge Road, Valley Grove, to Begin Tuesday, March 21, 2023


Ohio County, W.Va. – A portion of County Route 53 (Grimes Ridge Road) in Valley Grove, from milepost 3.60 to milepost 3.64, will be closed, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, through Friday, April 14, 2023, for a slip repair. This closure will be weekdays only. Emergency vehicles and school buses will be accommodated.

Alternate Routes: County Route 53 (Grimes Ridge Road) to County Route 12 (Rock Woods Road) to County Road 37 (GC&P Road) or County Route 53 (Grimes Ridge Road) to County Route 53/1 (Long Run Road) to County Route 37 (GC&P Road)

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
