The Weirton Millsop Community Center is open 342 days a year in its effort to meet the health, fitness and recreation needs of the city of Weirton and the entire Tri-State Area.
WMCC operates on two separte hour schedules, one for basically the summer months, from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September, and one for the fall/winter months, from October through the end of May.
It's actually quite easy to track the days when WMCC is closed during a calendar year. Barring unforeseen closures, WMCC is only closed for business on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday through Monday), July 4th, Labor Day Weekend (Saturday through Monday), Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and on Sundays from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September.
