Motion was made by Councilman Ash, second by Councilman Kondik.

Councilman Marsh inquired as to whether this was a three year contract and if    this is the first time that the city has entered into a three agreement.

Mr. Maher stated this was the first time for a three year agreement, and last year          this was not the way it was done.  This is something that was dictated by the        chief inspectors division in the state auditor’s office.  The numbers are locked in        and not needed to be paid up front.

Councilman Fijewski inquired how many other individuals bid on the contract.

Mr. Maher stated that there were two bids.

Councilman Fijewski inquired as to the pricing of the other bid.

Mr. Maher stated there was only $500 difference.

Councilman Dalrymple inquired as to who the other bids came from.

Mr. Maher stated that the other company was S.R. Snodgrass
